Sophie Nadaud, 27, is a self-described DIY musician hailing from the south of France. She began painting on Polaroids in an attempt to make an image she was unhappy with better. First it was a bit of paint, then a bit of wax, and after that, she began to scratch, "It was exciting to see it change and become something else."

Nadaud works with children and uses her techniques of painting and writing on the final images with them. "It's great because they don't need to know how to draw or paint and they can still make art with the materials they've got. The message is simple: if I can do it you can do it, too and how great it is to see what we can do, even if we don't have any knowledge about what they call 'art'".
