Lexi Hoeller was born and raised in Vienna, Austria and in 1995, he graduated from University of Vienna with a degree in Biology.

During his time at University of Vienna, he worked as a freelance programmer and over the years, he has programmed many noteworthy sites including Wissenschaftskalender, which was commissioned by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Culture. Currently, Hoeller is the Chief Programmer and Technical Director of UNVERKAEUFLICH Handels GmbH located in Vienna, Austria.

Aside from being an all-around genius in the realm of computer programming, Hoeller is also a man madly in love with all things instant. He is one of the founders of Unsaleable.com, Polanoid.net, SX-70 Blend film and the Polaroid-only gallery, Polanoir.
