I was born in Columbia, Maryland and have lived here all my life. I've grown tired of seeing the same old thing in the same old place. I have ideas and visions I wanted to express and for others to see. The idea of turning something mundane into something "magical" is what made me fall in love with photography. I guess I worked the opposite way photographers usually do; I started off using digital cameras and then converted to film. I started photography when I was 15 and now, three years later, I feel like I've explored so much but have hardly done anything. It's a shame that film is being discontinued and dying off, especially when I was just born into the photography world. We'll just all have to say what we have to say with the tools we have left.
